1. Habits Of Grace - Enjoying Jesus through the Spiritual Disciplines.

Instructor: Pastor Dave Meyers 

Description: A wise man once said, "It's hard to lead a cavalry charge if you can't stay on your horse." And certainly, it’s true. Our ability to effectively inspire, lead, and mentor those around us is directly related to us being able to grow and lead ourselves. In this course you will learn, and practice, some of the essential’s disciplines that go into personal growth and self-leadership.

2. The Grand Narrative of Scripture.

Teacher: Pastor Terry Murphy

Description: This course will help students identify the centrality of Biblical Scripture in all we believe and has a direct impact on how we will lead. The goal of the course is to establish a deeper understanding of (Judeo-Christian) Scriptures as a whole, and how and they provide a foundation to every area of our lives.

3. Leadership Essentials

Teacher: Pastor Morris Watson

Description: From root to fruit, leaders are made. Natural leadership ability will only take you so far before you plateau and become unfruitful. The purpose of this course will be to help you recognize the necessity of being developed as a leader on many different levels. We will look at the development process that can make you into fruitful leader if you are willing to pursue it.

4. Leadership Resilience

Teacher: Pastor Dan Godard

Description: This course focuses on staying healthy in leadership for the long haul. We need to grow, develop strategies, and be prepared now so that we can remain resilient along the journey of leadership. Our goal is to become people who can stay the course and stay soft-hearted even amidst the storms and attacks that Christian leaders inevitably face. Let’s discover together how we can burn bright for a lifetime without burning out.

5. Effective Conflict Management

Teacher: Pastor Dave Meyers

Description: The dictionary defines conflict as a serious disagreement or argument. Synonyms include dispute, quarrel, squabble, discord, strife, and antagonism. For most of us, these are not pleasant. In this course, we will see how vital effective conflict management is, and discover practical ways of how we can grow and mature in it.

6. Spiritual Leadership.

Description: What makes for a godly leader?

  • Biblical standards for a Leader
  • Spirit-fueled and directed Leadership

The following courses listed below are part of our split track. 
Students will be able to choose between a Marketplace or Pastoral focus.

1. Gospel, Church, and Culture (Marketplace)

 

Instructor: Pastor Sheldon Ball

Description: How do we live as Christian leaders in a secular society? Christians have a particular and important calling as leaders in the marketplace and in culture as a whole. This course looks at how the Church and Christians relate to culture, influence culture, and reach culture with the Gospel message without becoming negatively impacted by it. Missional leadership takes seriously the calling of all God’s people to minister in every sphere of life as faithful witnesses.

2. Marketplace Evangelism (Marketplace)

 

Instructor: Pastor Cooper Hamaliuk

Description: This course is designed to give students a practical blueprint for how to share the Gospel within their work, home and neighborhood. Simplifying the evangelism process using proven methods centered around relationship.

3. Time Management (Marketplace)

 

Instructor: Sola Adeyinka, PhD, MBA, P. Eng

Description: One of our key resources in life is time. This course looks at how we use it effectively and with a Biblical perspective to ensure longevity and avoid burnout. By looking at more meaningful and lasting lifestyle changes rather than just individual habits, the student will be empowered by how Jesus managed his time and responded to human constraints to be purposeful, present, and productive.

4. Marketplace Excellence (Marketplace)

 

Description: This course is broken into the following three sections:

Part 1: Business and Godly Ethics

1. Biblical Interpretation (Ministry)

 

Instructor: Pastor Dean Hughes

Description: The Biblical Interpretation course will prepare students with the principles and resources necessary to understand and interpret scripture. The course will examine the nature of the Bible, the use of content, literary context, and historical context. It will also deal with the various genres of the Bible and the principles used to interpret them properly. The course will also introduce a variety of online resources that can be used to determine the original intended meaning of scripture.ole.

2. The Art of Preaching (Ministry)

 

Instructor: Pastor Jesse Bourassa

Description: This course supplies ministers and theological students, as well as laymen who are called upon to preach, with a helpful tool for their ministry. It is by no means an attempt to complete an exhaustive treatment of homiletics but rather a general overview of the art and act of preaching itself.

3. The Wise Master Builder (Ministry)

 

Instructors: Pastors George and Hazel Hill

Description: In this course you will learn: Introduction: Biblical Foundation of the Church, Building With the Gifts/ 5-Fold comparisons, Levels of Apostolic Teamwork, Recognize and Release the Potential Within, The Fruit of the Apostolic, and Covenant Relationships.

4. Pastoral Toolbox. (Ministry)

 

Description: This course is broken into the following three sections:
